Free classes and recordings for babies and young children.
When we learn a language, we hear it for many months before we begin to speak. Reading and writing come years later. We believe it is important to approach musical learning in the same way.
Music study should begin in infancy, long before a child starts playing an instrument. It begins with listening. Through solfège—the musical language of do, re, mi—children can become familiar with melodies and musical patterns long before they read music or play their first notes.
Baby Solfège helps parents bring this musical language into their children’s everyday lives. Come sing with us, learn melodies you can sing to your baby, and use our free recordings to listen and sing together at home.
Our classes will welcome babies and children up to age five, together with their parents and caregivers. No previous musical experience is needed.
The first class date has not yet been announced.
